- Taking the lead in enhancing reliability within the maintenance team by assessing the performance of all operational assets and executing asset improvement initiatives.
- Scope, design, manage and implement site engineering projects within the mobile maintenance planning department.
- Provide technical support to site operations performing failure analysis investigations and the review of relevant systems and procedures.
- Enhance asset availability through component condition monitoring and trending, defect reporting, root cause analysis and fleet management system data.
- Assist in the organisation and facilitating of risk assessments for all maintenance activities on site.
- Reviewing maintenance strategies for statutory conformance and provide recommendations where amendments are required to improve reliability.
- Mentor and guide future vacation and graduate engineers in their development whilst on site.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a similar position
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Proven knowledge of budget, time and outcomes within planning and design
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance strategy development and problem solving
- 5/2 – 4/3 Roster
