    Role purpose

    Reporting to Senior Manager Project Delivery, the Project Manager will be responsible for leading a set of cross-functional workstreams in the successful planning, execution, and completion of high-profile projects. This is a fixed term role focussed on helping the business to meet Sustainability and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Reporting.

    The role will be critical in determining project scope and requirements through stakeholder engagement and workshops, supporting the business with approvals, through to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational and leadership skills, coupled with a proven track record of successfully managing both Waterfall and Agile projects from initiation to closure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

    • Solicit feedback and incorporate input to enhance project outcomes

    Project Planning and Initiation:

    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

    • Manage and prioritise the product backlog

    • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements

    Project Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, across internal and external resources

    Execution Management:

    • Manage the activities required to achieve the outcome

    • Implement and enforce agile best practices, including the use of agile project management tools and techniques and execute projects in an iterative delivery manner

    • Conduct thorough quality assessments to guarantee project deliverables meet established standards

    • Implement continuous improvement by identifying and implementing initiatives based on project feedback to enhance team efficiency and delivery

    Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess potential risks and challenges

    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

    • Proactively address issues to prevent project delays

    Communication:

    • Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members and stakeholders

    • Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders

    • Lead and chair regular SteerCo meetings

    Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation

    • Ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints

    • Software vendors

    • Potential Consulting and Software Development partners – Program and Account leadership

    Capability and Experience

    Mandatory

    • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field

    • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years in successful technology project delivery

    • Understanding and experience in both Agile & Waterfall methodologies

    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, internal and external

    • Track record of delivering complex projects successfully, on time and within budget

    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, where introduction of new technology and change management are required

    • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to work with senior technology and business stakeholders

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

    • Proficient in project management tools and software

    • Significant experience in making sound decisions and judgements (to resolve project roadblocks and issues)

    Desirable

    • Demonstrated experience in sustainability reporting projects

    • Previous experience working with REIT organisations desirable

    • PMP, PRINCE2 or PMI Agile certification is a plus
