    LAUNDRY ASSISTANT

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laundry Care Assistant to join our residential services team at mecwacare Wahroonga House, a 90-bed facility. This role will be providing efficient and effective cleaning services, and ensuring residents live in a clean and hygienic environment.

    What you bring:

    • Certificate III in Laundry Operations (highly regarded)
    • Experience in laundry operations
    • Ability to provide a high standard of customer service
    • Demonstrated ability to comply with laundry standards and procedures
    • Good communication and organisational skills
    • Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices
    • Demonstrated understanding of infection control processes
    • Knowledge of OH&S and manual handling
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors
    • Pro-active and dedicated approach to position
