    Job Title: Disability Support Worker

    We are seeking dedicated Residential Disability Support Workers to join our team.

    About the Role:

    In this role, you will primarily work in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, providing high-quality residential support to individuals with disabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide support with hygiene and personal care, including showering, dressing, bowel care, and toileting.
    • Assist with manual handling and the use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and hoists, ensuring client comfort and safety.
    • Support medication compliance, which may include the dispensation of prescription medication.
    • Perform light domestic duties, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
    • Provide transportation and accompany participants to community activities.
    • Offer social and mental health support.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all activities and incidents.
    • Provide day-to-day support for participants living in SIL arrangements, helping to improve their independence and achieve individual goals.
    • Follow Positive Behavioral Support plans and support clients with complex challenging behaviors.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience working as a Disability Support Worker in a SIL environment.
    • Previous experience in Disability Support or Aged Care.
    • Current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
    • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
    • Current Working with Children Check.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (for Community Access).
    • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
    • Full working rights in Australia.
