    Description

    The Department of Education and Training is looking for a skilled and passionate Behaviour Analyst to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) team in supporting schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.

    This role will work with schools and a multidisciplinary SSS team to support behaviour change, training staff in the implementation of behaviour support, monitoring behaviour and intervention effectiveness, and responding to challenging behaviour needs of the area.

    The Central Highlands Area includes schools from Trentham to Ararat and Waubra to Willaura, Linton, Bannockburn and Bacchus Marsh.

    Student Support Services Practitioners function in a strong collegiate team, having sound professional connections with the other Student Support Services streams, visiting teachers and nurses in the Health Inclusion Workforce.

    Flexibility, the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and the capability to work autonomously when required are key requirements for this position.
