TeamKids has a full-time, permanent Director of Service- Mentor role in our Northern Suburbs.

The role

This role permanent full-time. You will mentor and develop a number of Directors of Services across VIC, in addition to being the Director of Service for your own School. You will be set up for success with incredible support from your Regional Manager.

• Be a positive TeamKids role model and ambassador to all employees, ensuring a sense of belonging and community for all TeamKids.
• As a mentor, oversee training and onboarding of new TeamKids Directors ensuring familiarity with role, responsibilities and TeamKids values, being a positive role model and always ensuring you have a solution focuses mindset.
• Conduct weekly site visits at designated services and complete reports for service and Operations management review.
• Assist Directors to identify potential safety and compliance risks and provide appropriate support and resources to address and action where required.
• Collaborate with Operations management to actively identify opportunities to innovate and review existing practices.

The successful candidate

• You thrive in a fast paced environment and you love kids, in fact you're still a big kid at heart
• You are a solution focused person, who loves to problem solve and has a can do attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Confident interpersonal skills, no matter if you're talking with a preppie, their parent, one of your team or the school principal
• Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude
• At least 12 months + experience of managing a Before and After School Care program
• You're a natural leader with an eye for detail
• Have a genuine interest in creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children
• You're energetic, enthusiastic and love to have FUN
