    About the Opportunity

    Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager this role will be responsible for contract establishment, contract negotiations and leading bid opportunities along with supporting in various commercial strategies, providing advice on commercial matters and drafting of commercial documents in relation to the Collins Class Life of Type Extension Program. The successful candidate must demonstrate high level decision making, contractual and commercial knowledge to be able to work unsupervised at times.

    This role is a Permanent full-time opportunity located in our Osborne head office, with work from home days available.

    Responsibilities

  • Development of commercial, contracts and strategic relationships.
  • Support the development and management of change proposals
  • Be a part of all commercial aspects of program delivery including development of responses to customers, contract negotiation, setting commercial objectives and reporting.
  • Support the development and contractual implementation of quotations
  • Maintain a strong professional and transparent relationship with our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Engage with cross functional stakeholders to effectively deliver commercial program outcomes
  • Skills & Experiences

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction, Engineering, Commerce and or Law and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Contract Manger, Contract Manager, Commercial Advisory role or similar
  • Have experience in supporting new bid development opportunities and contract implementation without supervision
  • Previous experience and ability to understand complex project estimates and financials
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to simply communicate complex issues
  • Ability to influence commercial outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
