    The Opportunity

    This role is responsible for leading and managing verification and validation engineering activities across JP9347 including JIC System, Common Item TDL procurement and AUSTIN capabilities.

    This requires working closely with the acquisition team to ensure the project is fully supported with V&V requirements for delivery through introduction into service of capability.

    The Role

    As a Verification & Validation Systems Engineer, you'll take charge of planning and managing the project's Verification and Validation (V&V) program. Your responsibilities will include coordinating V&V activities with both internal and external project stakeholders, providing authoritative advice on V&V matters to project leadership, and developing formal correspondence and briefings on V&V activities. You'll play a crucial role in communicating risks associated with V&V activities and supporting Product and System certification efforts. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and efficacy of the project's communication and systems infrastructure.

    The Ideal Person

    The ideal candidate for this role is a highly skilled engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautical discipline, complemented by stage 1 or 2 professional engineering competencies recognised under the Washington Accord.

    With a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in developing and managing project V&V programs, you possess a deep understanding of V&V plans, procedures, and outcome reporting. You are adept in stakeholder management with an ability to work independently and autonomously.

    This role requires a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

    Salary / Rate
    • $150/hr - $180/hr inc Super
    • 15 month contract
