    Job Description

    Waters Corporation is seeking a motivated and team-oriented leader to oversee the Production Planning team.

    This position will lead production planning for highly labor-intensive areas in Assembly Ops, as well as Machining Ops with multiple semi or fully automated departments.

    The successful candidate will have in-depth planning knowledge, root cause analysis experience, and excellent leadership skills.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Implement safety protocols and achieve zero injury rates.
    • Oversee site teams responsible for Production Planning and Scheduling.
    • Develop and enforce processes for executing the master production schedule and material requirements planning using SAP APO.
    • Engage in Integrated Business Planning and analyze demand inputs to create production plans.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize raw material flow and inventory levels.
    • Create a comprehensive rough-cut capacity model and manage supply planning processes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain related field.
    • Minimum 10 years experience in production planning and inventory management.
    • 5+ years people leadership experience managing direct reports.
    • Advanced proficiency with SAP APO and Microsoft applications.
    • APICS CPIM certification or equivalent desired.
