    About the role

    The CSSD manager is a key position within the Procedural Areas team providing support to the CSSD staff, working alongside the clinical team to provide safe and efficient care for our patients

    Key Responsibilities

    Development of a team based environment while providing leadership and support to the CSSD team, working in partnership with the Procedural areas and Ward areas. Ensure standards, guidelines and legislative requirements are met with governance from assurance practice.

    This role is a full time permanent role working at both St Vincent's & St Luke's.

    What you bring


    • Formal qualifications in sterilisation

    • Demonstrated significant understanding of Safe Work Practices,

    • Australian Standards, Guidelines, legislative requirements and risk management principles as they relate to CSSD

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders

    • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and in providing reports for senior executives

    • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in a organised manner during periods of high demand and activity

    • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
