    THE ROLE

    We are on an exciting new adventure and are seeking a passionate and inspiring Hotel Manager to motivate and drive the team of this prominent and multi-faceted operation, demonstrating operational excellence, leadership and vision. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hotelier looking for a lifestyle change.

    You will have full accountability of the hotel and reporting to the cluster General Manager, the Hotel Manager will have a strong background in all operational outlets of a large-scale hotel, including rooms division, food and beverage, revenue management and a strong financial acumen. You have the opportunity to bring your personality and sense of fun to work and will have an amazing team to work with.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • You will lead the department head team to deliver a premium customer experience across a multi-faceted and multi-departmental hotel precinct


    • Manage all financial aspects of the business unit including annual budgeting, cost control and reporting.


    • Find opportunities to drive revenue through sales and effective rate strategies.


    • Extensive understanding of Hotel Refurbishments and to assist with launching the Hotel post the refurbishment works.


    • You've got experience leading a variety of different teams and have your numbers set straight. Consistent outperformer and commercially strong, you know all its and bits to driving top line revenue and bottom-line profits across rooms and F&B.


    • Manage the food & beverage outlets providing the platform for a guest obsessed culture and amazing customer service.


    • Set and maintain a level of service and quality that consistently exceeds the expectations of our guests.


    • Building a highly engaged and driven culture with a focus on engagement, performance identification, development and retention of high potential team members.


    • Manage staffing levels and work schedules to achieve financial and service quality targets.


    • Monitor and evaluate guest comments and create change based on feedback


    • Ability to engage with the local community


    • Inspire, develop and lead a team of hospitality professionals


    • Be the driving sales force behind the hotel, seeking opportunities to maximise revenue


    • Proven ability with cost control across a complex multi department hotel


    • Continuous improvement with regards to product and service


    • Maintain effective communication with the General Manager and their representatives


    • Ensure consistency and high standards

    Potential to work towards taking on the responsibility of a GM within the Oscars Group.

    • You have high level written and verbal communication skills


    • Hold current NSW RSA & RCG qualifications


    • Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and hazard identification


    • Ability to influence and mentor a diverse team and set targets that are KPI driven
