    About your new role:

    • Oil and filter changes
    • Preventative maintenance
    • Repairs of plant and equipment
    • Assist fitters where required
    • Servicing equipment
    • Mobilisation and demobilisation of pumping equipment
    • Working effectively in a team environment
    • Ensuring timely completion for all inspection, testing and safety paperwork
    • Conduct general workshop duties

    About you:

    • Relevant Trade Certificate
    • Experience in engine and mechanical maintenance repairs
    • Assessing and scoping required repairs and parts
    • Ability to read manual and schematics, document repair notes and interpret parts information
    • Ability to read, interpret and record pressure gauge readings (with micrometers, feeler gauges, dial test indicators)
    • Able to work unsupervised and with limited direction
    • Can do attitude when it comes to problem solving and completing tasks
    • Work as/with the team to get an asset completed
    • Attention to detail to produce a good reliable asset
    • Current C class driver's license
    • Genuine commitment to safety

    Desirable:

    • Experience in Rental, Mining, Construction or Heavy industries
    • High risk license
    • First Aid
