Salary: $77,000 plus 11% superannuation
Our client, Pharmacor Pty Ltd. is a major competitor in the fast growing generic medicines market. The company offers a wide range of quality prescription and over the counter medicines. Client is seeking a dedicated, proactive and energetic team player to fill a full-time position for an experienced Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to coordinate the distribution of stock nation-wide and ensure optimum stock levels are maintained at all times.
Logistics & Inventory Coordinator will plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of generic medicines. The position is a key contributor to the company's operational, quality, compliance, and commercial performance.
In this role you will support key stakeholders in the management of the end-to-end procurement process.
Minimum Requirements:
· Relevant bachelor degree or formal qualifications in Logistics and Inventory Management and at least three years of commercial or practical experience in the area of logistics and inventory management
Key Accountabilities:
· Determine, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
· Prepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
· Ensure optimal supply timing, minimizing processing errors and preventing end-of-line delivery issues
· Identify alternative of logistic & 3/4PL providers
· Monitor distribution expenses on regular basis
· Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
· Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
· Liaise with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
· Analyse and prepare stock reports i.e. stock on hand, short expiry, slow movers, estimations of back in stock items
· Customer Relationship Management with Logistics associates at Distributors and Freight forwarding agents
· Develop demand plans to meet sales objectives
· Lead stock review meetings and reviewing sales forecasts
· Review and develop processes and procedures that will continually improve all supply and distribution functions and stock control at minimum cost
· Create an environment of shared leadership, promote people strategies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
