    Senior Analyst - CDE Onboarding


    Sydney, Australia

    Job Description:

    • Fixed-term contract for 1 year with possible extension
    • Hybrid work arrangement in Sydney

    Key Responsibilities:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to onboard the Critical Data Element (CDE) as part of our data management activities. The successful candidate will enable the Consumer Division Chief Data Office to achieve its strategic goals, business benefits, and outcomes by ensuring compliance with group-defined policies.

    Requirements:

    • Data management and/or data risk and controls experience in a banking or financial services organization
    • Strong understanding of technical business analysis skills, including documentation, analysis, and stakeholder management
    • Experience working with data, including data lineage, data quality, data governance, reconciliation, and load assurance
    • Knowledge of APRA Prudential Practice Guide CPG235 - Managing Data Risk
    • A can-do attitude, analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and capacity to quickly understand business context and think through technical implications
    • Ability to work self-sufficiently and be a self-starter
    • Desire to be constantly challenged and develop new knowledge
