    The Opportunity

    We require a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Vascular Services Team. The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Vascular Services is a Registered Nurse with advanced skills and knowledge in patient care coordination, complex wounds management and related vascular services/procedures. The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Vascular Services is responsible for providing appropriate evidence based clinical care and care coordination for patients acessing Vascular Services at AWH. This is a cross campus position working within the inpateient space and the outpateient vascular clinics (Interdisciplinary HIh Risk Foot and Chronic Complex Wound Clinics).

    • Mandatory : Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
    • Mandatory : Relevant, recent clinical skills related to wound care, particularly chronic complex wounds, high risk foot wounds and amputation/surgical site wounds.
    • Desirable : A demonstrated collaborative interdisciplinary approach to the delivery of care.
    • Desirable : Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with the patient, family and other health professionals.
    • Desirable : Strong organizational skills to meet the demands of complex care coordination in a diverse team structure.
