    About the service

    The service is centrally located, close to public transport and provides a parking spot for the leader. With less than 100 children at full capacity, this role is manageable and comes with less stress than some of the bigger centres in the area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to really make this service your own.

    About the role

    We are looking for a leader who is well-versed in all aspects of compliance, including a good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework and experience with the Assessment and Rating process.

    We are looking for a strong leader with experience in a similar setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your excellent communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served.

    As Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, including but not limited to:

    • Guiding and mentoring a small-medium team of Educators
    • Supporting and upholding the Centres policies, procedures and philosophies
    • Attend to administration tasks,
    • Develop collaborative partnerships with families (many of whom are fluent only in Mandarin)
    • Develop meaningful relationships with the wider local community
    • Ensure the highest quality of education and care is transferred throughout.

    Role requirements

    • Diploma qualification or above
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as either Assistant Centre Manager or Centre Manager
    • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
    • Inherently responsible and dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
    • Willingness to continue professional development and contribute to ongoing learning
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
