- supervise, mentor and develop a team of electrical coordinators and trade personnel to enhance their capabilities
- tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Trade

- experience working in a similar industry within Electrical Maintenance, with a strong focus on defect elimination and equipment reliability

The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Coupled Pickled Cold Mill (CPCM) team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as an Electrical Maintenance Team Leader. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
The CPCM is a highly automated processing line that uses a blend of old and new technology. The CPCM is toward the end of the steel-making process with the primary purpose of strip thickness reduction in preparation for the downstream steel coating processes.
In this specialised leadership role, you will lead a multi-skilled Electrical team focusing on the delivery of Electrical Maintenance requirements for the CPCM Plant department while ensuring you champion a safety-first culture. To ensure operational productivity and asset preservation targets are achieved, you'll provide technical expertise on challenges with our equipment and manage the team's success through their performance and productivity to ensure our business plan objectives and targets are continually met.
