    Description

    Our client, a Financial Services provider have partnered with Perigon Group on the position of Senior Accountant to support their growing Finance Function.

    As part of the finance team, reporting to the FC, your role will be approximately 40% tax focussed and 60% financial reporting.

    Responsibilities include (however may not be limited to);

    • Tax reporting including; corporate income tax, BAS, FBT, GST, PAYG, PAYE, insurance stamp duty and payroll tax across Australia & New Zealand
    • Journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Tax advice and recommendations
    • Prepare board papers, finance updates and other reports as required
    • Prepare year end statutory financial statements as required
    • Complete ABS and RBNZ surveys
    • Adhoc duties as required


    Requirements

    • CA/CPA Qualified
    • Circa 3-5 years relevant professional experience
    • Proven tax accounting experience
    • Prior experience within financial services/insurance would be highly regarded
