    **Job Summary:**

    This is a full-time Lecturer, Inclusive Education position at Deakin University. The successful candidate will contribute to academic and scholarly leadership in the Teaching Capability Team by developing and delivering professional learning programs to grow and sustain the development of Deakin staff in inclusive education.

    The role focuses on exploring the connections between artificial intelligence, equity, diversity and inclusion in higher education, with an emphasis on building capability in inclusive course design, pedagogies, assessment and resources leading to improved equity student success.

    **Responsibilities:**

    • Lead the Inclusive Education community of practice within the Deakin Teaching and Learning Academy to explore the challenges and affordances of artificial intelligence for equity, diversity and inclusion in higher education.
    • Lead the Digital Accessibility Champions project to build capability across the university in digital accessibility.
    • Provide operational and practical advice on areas associated with inclusive education to the Director, Teaching Capability and other areas of the university as required.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Inclusive Education project and report regularly to the HEPPP project team.
    • Research, publish and present individually or in collaboration with peers at conferences and through scholarly publication on artificial intelligence and equity, diversity and inclusion.
