    About the role

    Stamford Plaza Adelaide is a five-star hotel situated in the heart of the city of Adelaide, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to drive and oversee the success of our exceptional service experience throughout our many onsite venues, TG's Restaurant, Cascades Lounge, in room Dining and the Pool Bar. This unique role is also responsible for the overall success of the designated areas including the performance of the Food and Beverage team, to achieve a consistently high standard of service, and ultimately create memorable dining experiences for our discerning guests.

    Core Functions of your role

  • Maintaining an energised, motivated and highly skilled team and ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction
  • Managing the full life cycle of each team member – performance appraisals, development, coaching and mentoring
  • Maintain a commitment and focus on sales growth through service deliverables and a common approach to promotion and marketing
  • Assist in preparing annual departmental operating budget and financial plans
  • Working closely with other departments, such as events and front office to facilitate seamless operations, communicating F&B needs and requirements effectively to other teams
  • In conjunction with the Executive Chef, work to achieve continuous growth and improvement in all major venue areas
  • To achieve budgeted targets through monitoring product, labour, inventory control, wastage and other operational cost
  • Compliance with statutory legislation, including WHS standards
  • Respond, track to improve guest feedback and ensure complaints are resolved in a prompt and professional manner
  • About you

    If you have 2 years' experience in a similar role, who's empowered by contribution, collaboration and the personal fulfillment of delivering service excellence and possess the following:

  • Career-focused hospitality expert, exposure to fine-dining and event/banquet planning/management
  • Available for weekends and nights shifts
  • Ethical leadership, natural mentor and effective communicator
  • Sound wine knowledge and have the ability to train, motivate to upskill the team
  • Hold a valid RSA or RPB, Food Safety Certificate and have the maturity to uphold the Hotels responsibilities & obligations as per legislation
  • Focused attention to detail, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Displayed initiative and a pro-active approach to sales and problem solving
