    About the Group/TeamThe Search & Assist team designs and builds experiences to help users find and accomplish any task in Canva through the power of text, voice and more.

    This team is focused on building search & applied AI that can assist our users in accomplishing their goals in Canva.

    The team is diverse and cross-functional, made up of a number of specialties including engineers, product management, machine learning experts, content designers, product designers, and more.

    About the Role/SpecialtyCanva is the home of design for hundreds of millions of users around the world.

    We are incredibly excited about how AI will help our customers solve many of their design needs in a faster, more elegant way.

    This role will be to set the strategy for a key part of this experience and work closely with a cross-functional team to bring that strategy to life.

    What you'll do (responsibilities)
    Engage with technical, product, design and business stakeholders to prioritise and build what really matters
    Drive customer research in the AI space to inform a user-centric strategy
    Evaluating our competitive landscape and position Canva as the leader in the AI space
    What we're looking for
    You have experience defining the vision of early-stage products and building them into larger high high-functioning ones
    You have deep user empathy to understand user needs and prioritise user experience
    You are adaptable and can manage change and uncertainty with resilience
    You also have demonstrated the ability to influence other teams, across a broader company to ensure that everyone is rowing in the same direction
