    Are you a forward thinker with a passion for helping businesses to grow and succeed? We are looking for someone to play a key role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of AgForce Training. We are looking for someone to join us on a full-time basis where as a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional areas of the business, help shape our strategies, and contribute to the growth of the organisation.

    AgForce Training is a Joint Venture between AgForce and Response Group International to develop and provide training to their membership and the broader Agriculture Industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and success by enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring a seamless training experience for our clients.

    As a group we are committed to doing good work and doing it well, drawing on the broad range of skills and strengths of our team to support the growth of this joint venture. We need someone who has the skills and experience to jump straight in and isn't afraid of rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. You will need to be able to think systematically and work to project deadlines within budget. As the joint venture is in its early stages we are looking for a candidate with a unique blend of operations management experience and strong project management experience to ensure its success.

    Position Overview: As the Project / Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of AgForce Training company's operations. Your work will include overseeing day-to-day activities, optimising processes, managing people and resources, and collaborating with the Joint Venture Partners and various teams to deliver high-quality training programs.

    Core work of the role:

    • Leadership:
      • Team Leadership: Effectively Lead the operations team to achieve plans including the continuous improvement of processes.
      • Working Relationships: Work with Team Members to develop effective working relationships based on a constructive culture emphasizing safe work, adult behaviour and personal discretion.
      • Team Membership: Demonstrate effective team membership within the AgForce Training Team as well as with JV partners focused on achieving overall business objectives.
      • Vendor Management: Collaborate with clients, external vendors and partners to deliver quality services and resources.
    • Project Execution
      • Project Planning: Develop the project plan, aligning it with the project objectives, deliverables, milestones and outcomes to deliver on the specific or related company goal/s.
      • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end project initiatives, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and projects are delivered and launched smoothly.
      • Innovation: Incorporate relevant, affordable and achievable (SMART) industry trends and emerging technologies, innovating to enhance project and overall business effectiveness.
      • Budget Management: Manage project budgets efficiently, allocate resources effectively, and ensure optimal utilisation for optimal ROI.
      • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing reports on progress and deliverables and making data-driven adjustments to strategies and project execution.

    3. Operational Execution:

    • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of operational strategies aligned with the company's goals,
    • Process Optimisation: Introduce, evaluate and optimise existing operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
    • Resource Management: Effectively manage resources, including people, materials, and facilities, to deliver smooth training operations.
    • Compliance: Monitor and adjust so that AgForce Training adheres to industry regulations and company policies in all operational activities.

    4. Training Program Management:

    • Program Coordination: Oversee the coordination and execution of training programs, so that they meet quality standards and client expectations.
    • Logistics: Manage logistical aspects of training sessions, including venue coordination, material preparation, and participant communication.
    • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in training delivery and content.
    • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and training program success.
    • Process Management: Develop processes for continuous review and improvement.
    • Feedback and Analysis: Gather feedback from clients, trainers, and internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
    • Training and Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the operations team.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience (8+ years) in operations roles, preferably in the training or education industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in operational tools and software.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience in project management and process optimisation.
    • Familiarity with the training, education, or professional development sector is required.
    • Relevant certifications in operations and project management are a must.

    • You have a strong sense of initiative, and act to find solutions to problems, rather than waiting for direction.
    • Your strong analytical skills support informed decision-making based on sound data interpretation.
    • You have excellent project management skills
