    Job Description

    The Client

    We are seeking an Incident Manager to support and offer services to a broad range of stakeholders within a leading Federal Government agency.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain incident management frameworks to prioritize IT incidents based on their impact on the business and criticality of affected systems.
    • Establish and maintain systems and processes for early detection of incidents.
    • Document all aspects of the incident response process, including triage, actions taken, decisions made, and outcomes achieved.
    • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures that involve identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure communication plans are in place and ready for activation to communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, affected users, and IT staff.
    • Conduct post-incident reviews to analyze what happened, why it happened, and how similar incidents can be prevented in the future.
    • Update knowledge platforms and documentation to facilitate quicker resolution of similar incidents in the future.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience working in IT service management or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and their relationship with service management.
    • Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills across various teams and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while setting priorities and delivering quality results.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.

    **Estimated Salary:** AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum

    This is a full-time position available only to Australian Citizens. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance; NV1/NV2 Security Clearance also welcome to apply.
