    Description

    Technical Manager Role

    Retail, Consumer & Auto (RCA) provides specialized contract warehouse and distribution services to a range of industries across the globe including Consumer & Beverages, Specialty Retail, Auto and FMCG. We offer our customers an array of robust and flexible logistics and warehouse distribution solutions in the third-party logistics (3PL) market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the automation of logistics and warehouse requirements by developing and coordinating with key stakeholders.
    • Manage interim warehouse solutions for major retail customers prior to transition to alternate automated locations.

    A Day in the Life:

    • Implement and deliver key warehouse automation functions for Toll Warehouses.
    • Ensure project compliance requirements are reviewed to meet customer and Toll's expectations.
    • Engage Toll's key stakeholders internally and externally to achieve business goals.
    • Prioritize Toll's safety culture in all automation project considerations.
    • Lead and drive the reliability and performance of automation and order fulfillment systems.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) and a certificate or equivalent experience in Business Administration/People management or Safety.
    • Experience in setting up and maintaining automated warehouse projects.
    • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain solutions (WMS, TMS, WCS) & Advanced skills in MS Office.
    • Proven experience in maintaining external contracts and working with suppliers.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Ability to report financial and productivity/KPI measures.
    • Experience in working within/leading a 5S or Lean environment/six sigma and kanban methods is preferable.

    Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum

    Location: Australia
