    **Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Role**

    • Utilise exceptional report-writing and analytical skills to interpret information and create clear and concise Behaviour Support Plans for families and stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement person-centred support in areas such as functional behaviour assessment, behaviour support plans, risk assessment, service needs assessment, and restrictive interventions step-down plans and assessments.
    • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, leading training sessions and actively participating in care team meetings as required.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience working with complex presentations, preferably within youth and/or disability justice or complex mental health settings.
    • Minimum 12 months experience working in a behaviour supporting role.
    • Proficiency in working with individuals with co-occurring diagnoses and complex presentations.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
    • Knowledge of the youth justice and/or criminal justice system and related settings is desirable.
