Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Manager People & Culture will make the employee experience a high priority and provide oversight of the volunteer program.
The role will require a high degree of creativity and innovation, aligning people and culture initiatives with key organisational objectives, whilst promoting the Shepparton Villages values.

Key Responsibilities:
Executive Function of People & Culture: Oversee recruitment, retention, employee relations, volunteer management, wellness, and workplace health & safety.
Leadership in Workplace Culture:
Foster an open, positive, and inclusive workplace culture through strategic guidance and leadership.
Strategic Guidance and Leadership:
Design and implement people and culture initiatives to achieve organisational objectives with a focus on improving the employee experience.
HR Advice and Support:
Provide advice to management and staff on HR matters, including award interpretation, recruitment, retention, performance management, disciplinary actions, and leave management.
Operational and Strategic HR Plans:
Develop and deliver HR plans, KPIs, business plans, and reports.
Policy and Procedure Management:
Ensure all people-related policies and procedures are current and align with best practices.
Leadership of the P&C Team:
Lead the People & Culture team and participate in various functions of the Executive Management Team.
Enterprise Bargaining Agreement:
Ensure the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement is actioned and applied.
Organisational leadership :
Participate in the on-call Executive Roster and Emergency Management Team as needed.
