    Job Title: Packaged Gas Scheduler

    A vital role at Vitalaire Canada Inc. involves coordinating packaged gas deliveries to specific geographic areas, ensuring optimal distribution planning and cost management while adhering to legal and operational constraints.

    Responsibilities

    • Organize deliveries to clients and distributors based on optimal distribution planning.
    • Improve safety, quality, and efficiency of the distribution process.
    • Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and our safety standards.
    • Monitor operational KPIs for improvement and reduce non-quality costs.
    • Identify areas for improvement by simulating new dispatch schemes with our routing tool.
    • Propose solutions and implement them in coordination with the sales team.
    • Analyze client needs in collaboration with order takers and sales teams.
    • Communicate solutions to order takers, who will inform clients.

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years experience in transport planning and scheduling.
    • Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transport (ADG).
    • Strong knowledge of computerized systems and programming (Excel/Google Sheets).
    • Knowledge of logistics or freight operations.
    • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving ability.
    • Tenacity, resilience, and conflict resolution skills.
