    McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for various blue-collar roles to join the Mardie Salt & Potash Marine project team on a 3/1 FIFO day/nights. Nightshift will attract shift rates. Initial engagement will be directly to Mcconnell Dowell on a fixed term contract with long term opportunities potentially available to high performers.

    About the Project:

    The Mardie Salt and Potash Project is in the north-west coast of WA (approximately 135km south-west of Karratha) and will include the design, fabrication, supply, construction, installation and commissioning of Port Marine Structures that has an export capacity of 3,300TPH of industrial grade salt and sulphate of potash. The works includes:

    • a piled 2.4 km jetty structure with head-end platform, berthing and mooring dolphins
    • a materials handling conveying system including shiploader
    • non-process infrastructure comprising fire suppression equipment, employee amenities, fixed crane, channel markers and other navigation aids
    • ancillary equipment, including security gates, CCTV, lighting, outfall pipe on jetty, diffuser, and emergency boat launcher

    About You:

    • Hold a relevant licence/trade certificate where applicable.
    • Hold a valid Construction White Card.
    • Have a high level of safety awareness.
    • Experience in Marine Construction and piling (preferred - not essential).
    • Personal values aligned to McConnell Dowell's values of safety and care, honesty and integrity, customer focus, working together, and performance excellence.
    • Have strong commitment to "Home Without Harm".
    • Have valid working rights in Australia.
