Join our Supply and Networks team to support the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) Supply, Networks and Licensing directorate across Queensland.

As a Senior Projects Officer, you'll work with limited supervision to deliver project management, administration of accredited auditors and develop systems and processes for business improvement.

You will influence others and work across boundaries to build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders to deliver clear, future- focused outcomes in a dynamic environment.

About The Role

As the Senior Projects Officer you will work with limited supervision in the Supply, Networks and Licensing Unit, part of the Electrical Safety Office directorate to deliver project management, administration of accredited auditors and develop systems and processes for business improvement.

You will influence others and work across boundaries to build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders to deliver clear, future-focused outcomes in a dynamic environment.

The role presents an opportunity to make a positive impact and get great exposure to the diverse work of Supply and Networks.

While no two days are the same, on any given day you can expect to:

Develop best practice systems for, and delivery of, accredited auditor: accreditation, administration, assurance and engagement tasks.
Monitor, analyse and evaluate data to assist the targeting and report of regulatory activities and promotion of best practice.
Lead and provide oversight of the services provided by internal support providers and external contractors.
Prepare and administer quality procedures and external support contracts.
Advise and assist the Manager Supply and Networks in the planning and delivery of regulatory interventions.
Engage with accredited auditors, internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory objectives.
Plan and deliver stakeholder information sharing forums.

Prepare written and other communication materials including internal reports, briefings for senior officers, website updates, external communication and awareness material.

Our workforce needs to be agile to respond quickly to new and emerging priorities.

You may also be required to undertake alternative duties or work in alternative locations on a temporary or permanent basis to support service delivery.
