- Work with the Inclusion Manager to make sure that people with intellectual disability are leading work the Centre does.
- Be a representative for the Centre, and will talk to communities, organisations and governments about the work the Centre does.
- Work with the Consortium members, and other organisations, who are based all over Australia. The Inclusion Lead will sometimes need to travel to other places in Australia.
- Lived experience of intellectual disability
- Experience in co-design with people with intellectual disability.
- A passion for improving healthcare for people with intellectual disability
- Strong skills in mentoring people with intellectual disability
- Confidence to do presentations and have discussions as a part of a large group.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
