    Senior Clinician, Child and Adolescent Practice

    • Lead Victoria's statewide rehabilitation services in child and adolescent practice.

    Young people can make remarkable changes in their lives.

    Statewide rehabilitation services provide innovative, evidence-based assessments and interventions for children and young people to support rehabilitation and reintegration with caregivers and education systems.

    Rehabilitation services aim to provide continuity of care as young people move between community and custody.

    The Opportunity

    • Earn $121,250 - $132,764 per year plus super in this AHP 4.2 role.
    • Provide leadership and clinical supervision to clinicians, guiding them in managing multi-systemic practice dynamics and intervention.
    • Deliver therapeutic interventions to highly complex young people in community and custody settings.

    In this role, you will lead clinicians in delivering criminogenic and non-criminogenic programs to create best practice outcomes for children and young people.

    You will administer clinical assessments and deliver group and individual interventions, supervise clinical portfolio development, and establish relationships with stakeholders to facilitate multi-systemic interventions.

    You will also oversee practice improvement and support clinicians to effect change through training, development, and knowledge translation activities.

    Ensure completion of treatment plans and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders, including collaboration with senior advisors and teams.

    To be successful, you will have knowledge of youth justice issues and at least two years' experience working directly with children and young people.

    Qualifications Required:

    • General Registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); or
    • Eligible for membership of Australian Association of Social Work (AASW); or
    • Credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse with Australian College of Mental Health Nurses; or
    • Registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
