- Ensure timely and accurate payroll services are processed and delivered in line with business and legislative requirements, covering all aspects of payroll deliverables.
- Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
- Manage and maintain the payroll system and operations in accordance with policies, procedures, relevant legislation and business requirements.
- Lead payroll related projects in line with business & project requirements.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to develop effective relationships and outcomes.
- Lead payroll audits and ensure accurate delivery of compliance activities, reports, and analysis.
- Lead system upgrades and changes including testing prior to go live.
- Oversee the review, update and testing of payroll, workforce management and award interpretation systems.
- Develop system solutions in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Support a team culture that engages employees through an encouraged team environment of positive communication, recognition and collaboration.
- Guide, support and mentor staff performance and development to enable high quality payroll services.
- Proven high level customer service skills and a "can do" approach to new projects.
- Proven knowledge of Awards, workplace agreements and relevant legislation relating to terms and conditions of employment for payroll.
- Proven experience in managing software updates and contributing to new software implementations.
- $135,000 - $140,000 + super + salary packaging (may be flex up for the right candidate)
