    Our client is looking for an experience Principal Procurement Specialist to contribute to a key sector in Queensland Government.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the enhancements required for collaborative procurement and contracting framework, as well as assisting with procurement projects.

    Based Brisbane CBD
    CBDContract until end of July 2024, with possibility of extension
    Attractive hourly rate

    About the role:
    Analyse and advise teams on appropriate procurement and supply chain strategies for major projects to minimise risk and ensure value for money
    Support project teams in preparing tender documentation for release to market, ensuring alignment with key departmental procurement strategies
    Provide advice, analysis, and recommendations to Tender Evaluation Panels regarding key government legislative/policy and other requirements
    Monitor, measure, and manage compliance information to facilitate standardised monitoring and reporting
    Analyse data and trends from key result areas to identify opportunities to improve current program development and project delivery
    Contribute to the development of contract and supplier performance evaluation strategies that focus on rewarding good performance
    Ad-hochoc duties as required

    About you:
    Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in Government
    Strong analyticalanalytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build enduring relationships
    Demonstrated ability to provide sound advice on government legislative/policy requirements
    Experience in developing contract performance evaluation strategies
    Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
