We have an opportunity forEmergencyConsultantsto join the team on either full time, part time or casual contracts.

• Over 500 beds
• Western Australia's only private Emergency Department
• A standalone hospice and day surgery
• A large ICU

The Emergency Department Consultant is responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to them in the Emergency Department in collaboration with the responsible Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, fellow Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent; Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration FACEM

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

• Highly competitive salary & conditions ($322,961 - $424,958 base salary plus super per annum, pro rata for part time)
• Generous salary packaging optionsUp to $15,900 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, your rent, or other everyday living expenses

Up to $2650 on meal entertainment, holiday accommodation and venue hireAccess to novated leasing to use pre-tax dollars for a car and expenses.

• Professional Development Allowance $29,000 per annum
• 3 weeks Professional Development Leave per annum
• Purchase up to 2 weeks of additional annual leave
• Paid Parental leave 14 weeks full pay/28 weeks half pay

You will hold registration with FACEM (Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine) or equivalent professional membership and have demonstrated substantial clinical experience in the management of high acuity patients in a complex hospital environment.
