The M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion.

The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link.

Works includes 2km of new freeway upgrade, 3km of new freeway, separation of local roads from the freeway, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping.

This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.

Key accountabilities for the position:
As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfactionMaintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmentalSome exposure to maintaining planning/programming to assist Project managers with 4-6 week look ahead'sAble to read/interpret design plans & drawingsParticipate in client/contractor meetings where requiredFinancial assisting of cost tracking/invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of workReport to senior project engineers but gain leadership exposure with grads/undergradsFoster collaborative and effective relationships with a range of internal/external stakeholdersStructures focus but you may also be involved with civil, earthworks, pavements & drainage packagesRequired Skills and Competencies
You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or something similarIdeally you will have a solid foundation of site-based experience working on large bridge projects or similarTechnical knowledge around design for structural steel and concreteWell-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients#LI-LG1
