    HR Adviser

    Education body based in the northern suburbs | $80,000 - $95,000 + super | Full-time, permanent role

    • Full-time, permanent role | You will be working on site full-time
    • Reporting directly into the HR Director
    • Be the first point of contact for HR enquires | Support the director with complex matters

    About the company

    Our client an education body, based in the northern suburbs are looking for a HR Advisor to join their People & Culture team. You will be reporting directly into the Director of Human Resources and working alongside two other HR Officers.

    The role is full-time and is based on site.

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Being a true HR generalist, support the wider organisation with generalist HR enquiries
    • Write offer letters and update candidates information on the internal HRIS system
    • Support with transformation and change management by providing advice and data
    • Provide technical support during interviews and occasionally sit in on interviews
    • Support the HR Director with case management, sit in on investigations and support with the process
    • Provide advice and update policies
    • Support line managers with workforce planning
    • Provide informed advice and technical expertise to employees and leaders in their assigned directorates on a wide range of People and Culture matters
    • P&C project work
    • Any other administrative and adhoc duties as required

    You will have the following:

    • Tertiary qualifications in HR or other related field and several years' experience
    • Experience working in a generalist HR role
    • Experience in managing a broad range of workplace relations and people issues including performance management, change management, grievances, and disputes.
    • Well-articulated verbal and written communication skills with experience in report writing or policy development.
    • Excellent stakeholder management including internal leaders and external bodies.
