    About Our Client: Our client, a reputable healthcare institution located in Penrith, is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator for their Perioperative department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse educator to contribute to the development and enhancement of clinical skills within the perioperative setting.

    Position Overview: As a Clinical Nurse Educator in the Perioperative department, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff. You will work closely with perioperative teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and promote continuous professional development.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver educational programs for perioperative nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
    • Collaborate with the Perioperative Manager to assess learning needs and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide hands-on training and support to nursing staff in the perioperative setting.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Facilitate and encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
    • Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in perioperative nursing.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
    • Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or Clinical Education is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing.
    • Proven experience in designing and delivering educational programs.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
