The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products.

The Mechanical Engineer position is responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical design solutions for medical devices and related systems.

To do so, requires understanding of customer needs, collaboration with other engineering functions, and alignment with stakeholders matching function with end product needs.

You collaborate with peers to support the project team to efficiently define solutions that deliver the greatest value for ResMed and meet our user's needs.

With guidance, resolves discipline design tasks at component and sub-system level. Applies attention to detail, especially in DFM and tolerancing. Able to collect and analyse data to make technical decisions

Required:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.

Preferred:
Discipline specific engineering experience
