    Description

    We are seeking a Senior Safety Operations Manager to join our team at Steel Centre, part of InfraBuild's Steel & Tube business unit.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support the implementation of safety initiatives across our SA & VIC/TAS locations. You will provide guidance and support to our sites, building strong relationships with the wider team and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Engage with stakeholders to understand how safety and wellbeing can be improved through proactive approaches.
    • Facilitate incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessments, and coach sites on learnings to prevent harm to individuals.
    • Support the business with change management activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
    • Lead your sites through their safety journey, promoting awareness of safety initiatives and communications.

    About You

    We are looking for a strong influencer with excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on safety and quality. You will have effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    As a Safety Leader or Advisor, you will demonstrate experience working with Safety Management Systems. Strong analytical skills are essential, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and implement change effectively.
