    About the role:

    SCT has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Transport Coordinator to join our fleet team at our site in Penfield scheduling deiveries to DCs accross Adelaide. Our transport coordinator roles are a fast-paced role that allows you to supervise and coordinate our deliveries into distribution centers. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the daily scheduling of timeslots bookings while providing exceptional customer service, planning for the coming days, ensuring out systems are up-to-date and achieving the best optimisation of equipment.

    The some of the responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Prepare and Schedule timeslots to Distributiion Centers accross Adelaide.
  • Ensure all shipments and deliveries are transmitted through SAP and MTDATA.
  • Ensure all DC deliveries are booked according to customer specifications and these are communicated with the team.
  • Complete planning for the following day(s) and make adjustments to the current day plan as needs arrise.
  • Provide supervision of the fleet team to ensure planning is executed and deviations, delays and exceptions are dealt with according to priority and to legislative and customer requirements.
  • Maintaining professionalism and clear and efficient communication with customers as required

    Essential

  • Experience in a similar role in a fleet environment
  • A proven track record of working in a team environment
  • Desirable

  • Qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Experience using SAP
  • High level of organisation and time management skills to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in and positively contributing to a team environment
