    Wood is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals division on a long-term engineering services contract. Join us in our new offices situated in the heart of Perth CBD, offering state of the art end-of-trip facilities and wellbeing classes.

    Wood APAC Minerals & Metals team is currently delivering critical metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals. This portfolio of projects ranging from studies through to EPCM packages working on developments in Australia and internationally.

    Wood is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals division on a long-term engineering services contract. Join us in our new offices situated in the heart of Perth CBD, offering state of the art end-of-trip facilities and wellbeing classes.

    About You

    You will have created a career in the mineral process/hydrometallurgical facilities ideally across both client and consultancy design engineering, with good knowledge of brownfield sustaining capital projects. Your knowledge of operations and technical expertise will encourage you to partner with our client to reach outcomes in a challenging production environment. In addition, we are looking for:

    • Tertiary Qualifications from a recognised institute, Bachelor of Civil Engineering
    • Developing ability to mentor & motivate technical professionals
    • Consistently demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding solutions and alternatives to address complex client requirements, possessing agility and adaptability to project or client requirements.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for inter-departmental and external company interactions
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve significant and unusual problems and generate substantial improvements to practices and procedures
    • Ability to broadly interpret principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering specialty.
    • High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work.
    • Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable.
    • Adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of projects
