    Compliance & Risk Specialist for Banking and Financial Services

    Full-time Position

    We are seeking an experienced compliance professional to join our client's team in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the compliance function, working closely with the Chief Risk Officer.

    The role involves:

    • Reviewing investment management agreements and other related documents;
    • Evaluating product disclosure statements, marketing materials, and product development-related content;
    • Ongoing monitoring of compliance obligations and risk management frameworks;
    • Conducting risk and compliance monitoring activities;
    • Tracking, managing, and reporting incidents, breaches, and complaints;
    • Maintaining all compliance registers;
    • Developing and implementing policies and procedures;
    • Staying up-to-date with regulatory and legislative changes;
    • Providing expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to the business team.

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance and risk management;
    • A background in wealth management, funds management, or superannuation is highly desirable;
    • A can-do attitude, ability to work effectively in a lean environment, and willingness to take ownership of tasks;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels;
    • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
