About the role This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week (across Monday to Sunday, 5:00am to 11:00pm) and is located at the Bay and Basin Leisure Centre. Duties Reporting directly to the Bay & Basin Leisure Centre Coordinator, the focus of this position is to:

Coordinate the customer service team

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Bay & Basin Leisure Centre, Central Leisure, and Point of Sale (POS) staff

Manage stock and reconcile cash transactions and banking

Coordinate the child minding (occasional care) and supervise the child-minding volunteers

Ensure processes and protocols are in place for Shoalhaven Swim Sport & Fitness/Central Leisure team compliance with all relevant legislation and Council policies and ensure that risks are managed

Monitor contractors and suppliers in respect of point of sale (POS) / goods services

Skills & Experience To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

Valid working with Children Check

Senior First Aid and Resuscitation Certification

Demonstrated experience working in a similar customer service role, including coordinating a point-of-sale team

Sound Word Processing and Database usage skills

Working knowledge of computer booking systems

Well-developed written and verbal communication, negotiation and dispute resolution skills and the ability to consult, share information and work collaboratively

Class C Drivers Licence

Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (Visa)
