Job Title: Kitchen Hand/Steward

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Kitchen Hand/Steward to join our team at West HQ. The ideal candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen and related areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform tasks such as washing kitchen equipment and dishes, maintaining a constant supply of clean materials, and ensuring all kitchen areas are clean and hygienically maintained.
• Clean wash-up areas and ensure that kitchen cleanliness is of the highest standard.
• Comply with safety work procedures (PPE) & WHS regulations and ensure safe manual handling techniques at all times.

Requirements

• Availability across a 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good manual handling skills.
• Experience handling chemicals and knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
• A helpful and friendly attitude.
• Flexibility towards work and role.
• Unlimited work rights in Australia (Citizen or Resident of Australia or New Zealand).
