    About the role

    In this role you will be an experienced Technical Business Analyst to assist in the delivery of a key digital initiative across the organisation which is is accountable for digital product definition, design and development and implementation across the key requirements.

    You will be working with both business and technology stakeholders. This is a fast-paced environment an requires a 'go-getter' to come in and hit the ground running. This is a greenfield project and requires someone with proven experience in working from inception phase through to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ability to map out the "As-Is-To-Be" requirements across business and system solutions.
    • Facilitating the alignment of improvement of business processes and systems through analysis, documentation and change initiatives.
    • Conduct discovery workshops to identify current gaps within service delivery across the business and contribute to business cases.
    • Produce reports and journey maps including solution design in conjunction with the various technical teams to come up with design options.
    • Translate technical language into simple business terms for stakeholders to understand.
    • Ensure that risk management is documented and under control with negotiation across the business to delivery quality outcomes.
    • Act as a key conduit between the IT vendor and business stakeholders.

    Skills / Experience Required:

    • At least 5-7+ years' experience working in a Technical BA role with strong experience in working across digital projects.
    • Experience working across NSW Government would also be highly beneficial. with good understanding of best practice and legislation.
    • Strong experience working in greenfield projects from inception phase through to completion.
    • Strong experience in customer service design and ability to map human centered designs within required budgets.
    • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels including C-level Execs and IT stakeholders and technology teams.
    • Strong experience working across complex system upgrade programs with enough knowledge to decipher technical language in reports and advise on next steps.
    • Ability to lead workshops and guide business users to facilitate change and get sign-off from the business.
    • Ability to be proactive and drive change and processes.
    • Experience working with jira and confluence.
    • Advanced analytical skills.
    • Previous experience working in both agile and waterfall environments.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organisation skills.
    • Experience working in a public sector organisation would be highly regarded.
    • Certifications in BABOK or Agile qualifications.
