    Assistant Parts Manager

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Parts Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in the success of our Parts Department.

    About the Role

    You will report to the Fixed Operations Manager and oversee the daily operations of our Parts Department. This includes managing inventory control, ordering, and receiving parts, ensuring smooth processes and outstanding customer experiences. You will also be responsible for efficient team coordination and contributing to business growth while developing your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Manage Inventory Control and Ordering: Assist the Fixed Operations Manager in managing the Parts Department, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving parts.
    2. Process Orders and Deliveries: Ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders and deliveries.
    3. Maintain Storage Areas: Maintain organized and efficient parts storage areas.
    4. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and technicians with parts inquiries and orders.
    5. Monitor Performance Metrics: Monitor and manage department performance metrics, including inventory turnover and customer satisfaction.
    6. Develop Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement parts department policies and procedures.
    7. Drive Sales Growth: Drive parts sales growth and foster new customer relationships.
    8. Respond to Inquiries: Respond promptly to all customer inquiries.
    9. Coordinate with Teams: Coordinate with service and sales teams to ensure timely parts availability.
    10. Support Training and Development: Support the training and development of department staff.
    11. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies.
    12. Handle Escalated Issues: Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction.
    13. Support Department Goals: Support the Fixed Operations Manager in achieving departmental goals.

    Requirements

    1. Parts Management Experience: Proven experience in parts management or a related field, preferably in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
    2. Strong Organization Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    3. Excellent Communication: Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    4. Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and mentor a team.
    5. Inventory Management Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems.
    6. Results-Driven Mindset: A results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
