    ABOUT THE BUILDER

    This emerging builder has over the last few years built a business that operates in multiple sectors, completing a large range of commercial projects from health, aged care, education - primary to tertiary, industrial, fitout and refurbs.

    ABOUT THE CULTURE

    The owner, who comes from a Top / Upper Mid Tier background, has built the business around the philosophy of keeping things simple, if there is a problem fix it. If you are not sure how or the best approach ask management, and together, you will come up with a plan. Straight forward communication allows everyone to do their best work, learn from each other and stay in front of the game as much as possible.

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    With the business growing and requests for tendering from repeat and new clients they would like to engage an estimator in a permanent role to help them get through the increased workload. There is a real mix of work from cost planning for private developers, D&C tenders to estimating on Hard Dollar government projects. As a result there will be plenty of variety for you, making it a great place to round off any skills you would like to develop. Importantly, there is a career pathway to become their Estimating Manager as you work with the senior team members to develop your managerial skills and build a pre contract team around you.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    Previous estimating experience working for another commercial builder or PQS firm together with a degree in construction manager or quantity surveying or similar.
