Job Overview

This permanent full-time position is based at our Adelaide Airport facility. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities for our customer airlines.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of chefs, sous chefs, and catering attendants to deliver high-quality meals that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook hot and cold meals for Business and Economy class flights for various airlines
• Manage bulk materials, produce, and recipes
• Maintain stock control and minimize food wastage
• Work effectively within a team environment, following directives from senior chefs and adhering to Food Safety/HACCP and OHS policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Certificate III Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications (or equivalent level of experience)
• A passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
• An ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
