    Description

    The Role

    Have you explored working in private practice during 2023, enjoyed the experience but are now starting to miss... part of a larger multidisciplinary team, working towards realistic targets (60%), the ability to focus on quality and not quantity, admin support along with readily available resource kit's and a mixture of NDIS and Non NIDIS clients?

    We are a fantastic team of allied health professionals who provide therapy to customers with a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.

    You will be delivering services in schools, our clinics, in homes and some community settings. Full or part time positions available and experienced Grade 1 and 2's are encouraged to apply.

    In this role you will:

  • Work with school-aged children in primary and secondary schools across Barwon, to deliver services and supports to students with physical disabilities or chronic health impairments.
  • Deliver goal directed therapy to children and young people who are experiencing learning, language, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties in the Barwon clinic, and our customers' homes, schools, and anywhere online.
  • Undertake communication assessments and interventions.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and services that build on customer's strengths and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Emphasise parent, teacher, and carer education to nurture change.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic customer care.
  • Work within a range of funding models, including NDIS and school-based funding.

  • Requirements:

    To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:

  • Current Driver's License and your own vehicle
  • Satisfactory Working With Children's Check (Employee)
  • Registered with SPA
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • COVID-19 digital certificate
  • If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries
