    We are seeking an experienced Job Development Officer (Employment Consultant) to join our supportive team in Townsville. Utilizing your sales and customer service expertise, you will proactively support clients with disabilities in finding and maintaining fulfilling employment in the local area. This dynamic role offers exceptional job satisfaction.

    Duties include:

    • Generate and optimize employment opportunities for job seekers.
    • Develop effective marketing strategies to create job openings.
    • Inspire and mentor job seekers to achieve their employment goals.
    • Provide ongoing workplace support.
    • Evaluate candidates based on these criteria:
    • Experience in a DES or Employment Services role (desirable).
    • Or experience in a target-focused role and desire to help others.
    • 'Can do' attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
    • Knowledge of Mental Health would be advantageous.
    • Drive and energy to deliver quality results.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to consult, negotiate, and problem-solve.
    • Organized with strong administrative skills.
    • Able to build key partnerships with local businesses.
    • A valid C class driving license.
    • Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
